An application developer could be considered a new and emerging job role in the media industry due to the rise of the prosumer. This means that thanks to converging technologies, regular people can design and make their own apps. This could impact my proposal as it means that there are more options available when it comes to choosing an app developer. Thanks to the rise of the prosumer, this role could even be filled by another member of the team.
A website checker is a modern job role. However, this doesn't take a specific skill to carry out compared to some other job roles such as coders. This could yet again be carried out by another member of the team. They could be hired cheaply off of a freelancer website (a website where a client can hire somebody who fits the specific job/skill set that they require to be carried out).
